Role
Creative producer and designer responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development of the AVA SS21 Lookbook, including garment production, casting, and visual storytelling.

Challenge
Create a lookbook that reflected AVA’s commitment to craftsmanship, authenticity, and inclusivity while staying true to the brand’s values and aesthetic.

Approach
Partnered with local NYC factories to produce original cut-and-sew garments. Scouted vibrant Brooklyn locations and brought on a well-known film photographer to bring a warm, cinematic feel to the shoot. Cast two real-life creative couples from my own community whose energy and style naturally embodied AVA’s spirit. Developed a comprehensive moodboard and shot list to ensure alignment across all creative elements.

Outcome
The lookbook authentically captured the essence of the collection and deepened AVA’s identity as a purpose-driven, design-forward brand — generating strong engagement and positive community response.
