IDLE LOOKBOOK
Photography by Molly Kirk
Directed by John Kalnins + Carr Bonner
The IDLE Lookbook was one of my first personal projects after moving to New York, and it holds a special place as it was created in collaboration with my friend Carr. We took a hands-on approach, designing the garments ourselves and managing every aspect of the shoot. This included sourcing the photographer, videographer, and models, as well as scouting the locations. We chose to split the shoot between upstate and Brooklyn, deliberately showcasing the stark contrast between the two locations to reflect the IDLE brand’s emphasis on polarization at the time. The final lookbook visually captured the duality and raw energy we aimed to convey, marking an important milestone in our creative journey.
